  • ZTE MF90 Unlocked successfully

Tried DC-unlocker to unlock ZTE MF90, and got success as below:

    selection :
    manufacturer - ZTE modems
    model - Unknown ZTE modem

    Found modem : +CGMM: MF90
    Model : Unknown ZTE modem
    IMEI : XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    Firmware : BD_ZTE_MF90ZAINV1.0.0B03
    Compile date / time : May 31 2013 11:16:01
    Chipset : Qualcomm
    NAND Flash : H9DA2GG1GJAMCR
    SIM Lock status : unlocked

One thing missing, after enabling the debug port, I cant seem to disable it.
From DC-Unlocker, I always get "No Response !"
From Putty (using serial interface) I get "ERROR" for AT+ZCDRUN=F (or 8)

Please help, as I would like the autorun feature to return back to normal

    Thank you

You are trying to disable diagnostics port by clicking the button on the unlocking tab after you detect the device or by entering the command on white area of the program?

Have you tried to disable it with the at command that you used? You can use it on dc-unlocker software as well, just detect device and enter that command on the white area of the software where all text appears and hit enter. Let us know with the results. Make sure there are no other modems/phones connected to pc.

        Perform this after reconnecting/restarting mf90.

          Still not working

          Getting :

          Code:
          Disabling ZTE diagnostic port ...

          No response !

When I type the command in the white box (after detection, I get nothing (not even an Error message) )

The only way to access the AT command terminal, is by using a terminal program (I use putty)

          Any other solutions?

Try to manually detect it by writing in appropriate Diagnostic port COM number which is visible in device manager and then enter at command.

I am not using AutoDetect, as its not detecting it most of the time.
I always use manual mode (selecting the App port and Diag port manually)

In both ways, still the same results

Under what lines in device manager now appears your device? Please write in details.

                  Only Under Ports Sub

Nothing in Network adapters or in USB controllers

                  Attached Image shows them

Does it appear under Modems line? If so right click on it, select properties and in the opened window select modems tab, see what COM port number it will show there.

Try to restart your device by removing it's battery for 20 seconds then place it back, turn on the device and check again.
