HELP:Mobile Partner Voice Error (failed to start the PcVoice Service)

Hello;
I have the followind data card. It seems, it is voice enabled and unlocked. I can use it with different operators data services and I can update the dashboard with the any voice enabled Mobile partner versions.

My question is, when I try to originate or recieve call, Mobile partner gives an error;

Call Cancel:

failed to start the PcVoice Service

Could you try to update firmware? Or to use other firmware version?

what is the most recent firmware version for my stick. because when I try the file in dc-files, it warned me and there was an error about it is not possible to upgrade my current version

What error was it? If it asked for firmware password, then you can generate the password by dc-unlocker. For other firmware version you can try to check at huawei web page.

it warns me about the firmware that I want to install is not compatible with the current hardware/firmware. But it should be, because my device is huawei e176g and I chose the correct firmware from the dc-files.

any comments/suggestions...because I really want to use voice/mms options with my 3g stick

use following command

mdma /u2diag:256

I use Huawei E176 and have the same problem after I modify some value.


if not, I suggust you to delete all Huawei driver and begin new step.

unfortunately no way

do I make a mistake?

I downloaded the Mobile Partner with voice support from this site?
install it, and modem is functional ( connect to 3g network, can send sms)
but when i try to use voice feature, I got that error.

by the way, should I send the At commands via hypertermial or dc unlocker client or mobile partner's ussd feature? any of them didn't worked for me?



....I am really sad, this feature is vital for my biking tour, any extra gram is important

Please note that I am not expert. just one user who has a same problem.
You have to take own risk for any suggestion below....

I don't know why it happened. but I can fix it with this command.
AT^U2DIAG=256
It's work for me (but in following URL show that my model doesn't support this parameter !!?)

This is my suggestion
1 Try "ATZ" to reset your modem to default setting then following that page command.
2 Try "AT^U2DIAG=276" to reset any hard configuration memory to factory defaults
3 Uninstall Mobile Partner / Driver
4 Unplug your modem
5 Restart
6 Install Mobile Partner
7 Plug modem back.
