Ive successfully unlocked my E160g with DC unlocker and now I want to use it with different sims. So i've deleted the 3Connect software which I had on my computer before and ive downloaded dashboard from dc-unlocker and run the .exe and flashed my data card and installed Mobile Partner.

When I open up Mobile Partner it sees my sim cards in the bottom left hand corner but it doesnt list anything in the 'Profile Name' box. When I click 'Connect' it says "Default configuration does not exist".

Presumably I have to set up connections for my different network simcards. But I cant see how to do this.

Help Please

You need to create profile with your new provider connection settings. Go to: Tools->Options->Profile managment->new.
Then enter your provider connection settings. Settings you can find here: http://franson.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6669

Hi
I down loaded a Mobile partner for my Huawei e160 modem and i have been using it for some days. right now i cant connect as it telling me "the network is not registered" when i try to register it it says "register failed". During that process the modem heats up very fast unlike in the past.

What could be the problem?
Please help me.

Thanks for the advice Vincentas. Ive got it up and running now.

Im running Mobile Partner version 11.030.01.04.03. It seems pretty unstable to me. If I swap sim cards in my 160g the only way I can get it to work with Mobile Partner is by restarting my pc despite running CC Cleaner and Registry Mechanic to clear the settings. I also get Error 50 (?what is it)quite a lot.

May be a different version may fix these problems. On the Huawei website there is mentioned a version 12.2 but its not clear where to download it. What version would you recommend and can you tel me where I can find it.

Hi,

Make sure you have the latest firmware available installed.

Check the local providers web sites for the latest firmware.
