Hello,

I'm interested in using the Japanese P-Series in the UK, but the 3G module is locked to NTT DoCoMo. The machine has an open SIM slot for a Qualcomm Gobi (WWAN) module... Can this be cracked, so I can use the machine on the GSM (HSDPA) networks in the UK and Europe, using DC-Unlocker?

Thanks

For anyone who's interested: I have now tried this and DC-Unlocker will crack the Japanese P-Series' 3G modem. It's an Option GTM 382; support for which was apparently added in v1.00.0261... My machine is now reporting that the card is unlocked -- I've yet to get a HSDPA plan and SIM, so I still only presume that it's worked ;)

You unlocked GOBI model or GTM 382 ?

GTM 382... I just read somewhere that the P had a GOBI module in it: I guess not.
