Firmware update failed

Hello,

I tried to update my option 225 (unlocked) with
Option_ICON225_Firmware_Upgrade_2.5.21Hd.
But the update failed.
Now the Option stick blinks very fast and XP does recognize the stick as a modem, but the driver and software doesn't.
Has anybody an idea..what to do ?

If the stick is blinking, try to install the drivers manually an repeat the update. If it still fails, then moust of all your modem is dead.

Unfortunately an Icon225 in recovery mode (eg. after failed flashing) requires special drivers. Because of a "mistake" in the bootloader it requires v3 drivers which do not officially exist for the Icon225 (the drivers you have are v4). You probably need to contact your dealer for a fix or replacement.
